BID NOTICE
The Fair Grove District Park Board is currently accepting bids for tree trimming. The park has a variety of trees in need of trimming and/or removal. Bid awardee will be responsible for removal and disposal of all tree trimming debris. For more information or to schedule an on-site inspection of all trees for the sealed bid, please call (417) 839-3176 and speak with Corrine Pocian. All sealed bids are required to include proof of current liability and worker’s compensation insurance. Bid work should be completed no later than Friday, September 25, 2015. Mail bids to: Fair Grove District Park Board, P.O. Box 107, Fair Grove, MO 65648. Sealed bids should be clearly marked with TREE TRIMMING BID on the outside of the envelope. The Fair Grove Park Board reserves the right to refuse and/or reject any and all bids. Bids must be received by 4:30 pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 and will be opened at the regular monthly board meeting on Monday, September 14, 2015.

345 South Meadowlark Street; Fair Grove, and legally described as: All of Lot Seven (7), Rit’s Addition, Fair Grove, Greene County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.
The City is accepting sealed bids therefore, subject to a  minimum reserve bid of $4,000, at City Hall, 81 S. City of Fair Grove is an

Fair Grove is located about 14 miles north of Springfield on Highway 65.  The 2010 census counted 1,393 citizens. A four lane Highway 65 south to Springfield connects with 4 lanes south to Branson. Consistent growth is the plan for the inhabitants that are proud of 1883 Wommack Mill, school, park and small town style of living with a sense of community.

There are 9 subdivisions underway in the city limits. All city streets are paved and the newer subdivisions have curbs, gutters and sidewalks.  The citizens passed a revenue bond issue in 2005 to expand the sewer system that was completed in 2009.  Fair Grove Public Water Supply has been established since 1968 and has 3 wells and 3 storage tanks.  Water is chlorinated and tested as per DNR regulations. There are around 500 single family homes, and several multi family buildings and duplexes.  A Senior Citizen’s housing provides 1 BD apartments for 20.  There are 50+ businesses including the historic district.  These businesses consists of 3 banks, a supermarket, pharmacy, 2 farm stores, Dollar General, convenience store, O'Reilly Auto parts, several restaurants as well as many others.   Nine churches reside within the city limits
